Our Perth Head Office is looking for an Accountant to join our team, this role is open to flexible employment options including Full Time, Part Time and Contract.
About the role
- Perform daily and month-end accounting activities including bank reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Prepare management reports, support variance analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Manage intercompany transactions, fixed asset register maintenance and depreciation reviews.
- Support statutory, BAS and compliance reporting and assist audit processes with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, with CA/CPA completed, in progress or willingness to commence.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed numerical, reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Confident written and verbal communicator who can build effective relationships across a multi-jurisdictional corporate environment.
- Proactive, organised and able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines within a monthly reporting cycle; and
- Advanced Excel capability with experience working in ERP or corporate accounting systems (desirable).
